PROTEGE ARTIST
(ASSISTANT)
At Cheveurier Hair Co., we see our assistants as protégé artists—future stylists in training who are stepping into excellence. Our assistant program is structured around five protégé levels that gradually guide you from support work to building your own clientele on the salon floor.
The timeframe depends on your starting skillset and self-motivation to reach level benchmarks. While progressing, you’ll continue to receive an assistant salary, with opportunities to take on services and grow your client base as you advance through each stage.
Every protégé participates in weekly in-salon education, covering both technical artistry and salon business. From perfecting your craft to learning how to market yourself, this program ensures you build a strong personal brand that aligns with the Cheveurier Hair Co. standard of luxury and care.
Upon completion of the program, you’ll graduate into a commission stylist role with the skills, confidence, and clientele to thrive.
Starting rate: $140 per day
COMMISSION STYLIST
At Cheveurier Hair Co., joining our team as a stylist means stepping into a culture of growth, education, and excellence. Our full-time stylists work on a commission-only basis, with the flexibility of a 2–4 day workweek—allowing you to thrive both inside and outside the salon.

OUR PROCESS
Our interview and onboarding process is designed to be clear and supportive. Applicants start by completing an application, which we review before inviting selected candidates for an in-person interview. From there, we schedule a shadow day in the salon to get a feel for your skills and energy. If it’s a good fit, we extend an offer and guide you through onboarding to set you up for success before your first official day.
